What we do
The whole chimney, start to finish.
Eight things, all done by our own crew - so the person who found the problem is the person who fixes it.
Chimney Inspection
Camera scan of the full flue, roof-level check of the crown and cap, and a written report with photographs you keep.
Sweeping & Cleaning
Creosote, soot and debris removed under vacuum. Drop cloths down before we start, floor clean before we leave.
Relining
Stainless steel and cast-in-place liners for a flue that has cracked, failed inspection, or now vents new equipment.
Masonry & Repointing
Failed mortar joints cut out and repointed, spalled brick replaced, colour and joint profile matched to the original.
Crowns, Caps & Flashing
A new crown, a stainless cap and correct flashing - the three details that decide whether water gets in.
Leak Repair & Sealing
We find where the water actually enters before we seal anything, then waterproof the masonry against the next winter.
Rebuilds
Partial or full rebuilds for leaning, cracked or deteriorated stacks, from the roofline or from the ground up.
Fireplace & Firebox
Firebox and refractory panel repair, damper replacement, and draft problems that have never been sorted out.
Our approach
No chimney gets a price before somebody has looked inside it.
Most of the bad chimney work on Long Island starts the same way: a quote written from the driveway. We do it in the other order. The camera goes up the flue, the crown and flashing get checked from the roof, and you see the photographs before any number is discussed.
If the chimney is fine, we will tell you it is fine. If it needs a liner, you will see exactly why on the screen.
How a job runs
Four steps, and you see all of them.
The call
Tell us what the chimney is doing. We book a visit and give you a real arrival window.

Recent work

Questions
Answers, without the sales pitch.
What happens on an inspection visit?
We look at the firebox and damper from inside, run a camera the full height of the flue, and get on the roof to check the crown, cap and flashing. You get the photographs and a written summary of what is sound, what is worn, and what needs attention now rather than later.
How often does a chimney need sweeping?
Once a year if you use it through the season. Wood leaves creosote, which is what causes chimney fires; gas and oil flues stay cleaner but still collect debris and still need eyes on them yearly.
My ceiling is stained near the chimney. Is that the chimney?
Usually, yes - and usually it is the crown, the cap or the flashing rather than the brick itself. That is why we trace the water before quoting a repair; sealing the wrong thing costs money and fixes nothing.
Do you do the masonry yourselves?
Yes. Sweeping, relining and masonry are all done by our own crew, so nobody is waiting on a subcontractor to come back and finish a job.
How much notice do you need?
Call and we will give you the first honest opening we have. Autumn is the busy season for every chimney company on Long Island, so earlier is better.
Where are you based?
At 364 Stewart Ave in Garden City, which puts most of Nassau County within a short drive.
